A Fire Nation noble and a Water Tribe native. But, (gasp) It's not Zutara. I truly believe that this is the first EVER written about this particular pairing! All feedback is appreciated, enjoy.

He hadn’t expected this when he was finally allowed into the War Room. To hear of a whole division of soldiers spoken of as if they were toys, a mere division, easily discarded. Just like these little figurines on the board.
These were people. But to the hardened generals in this room, sitting around the board, they were not people. They had no names, no faces. Just a title. The 41st Division.
He knows it’s wrong. If it was up to him he would create a different strategy. But he promised his uncle he would not speak. So he didn’t.

A set of Zutara drabbles (also my first ever drabbles) Modeled after the myth of Hades and Persephone because I am too much of a cynic to believe that Z and K's relationship would be all sweet and light and fluffy...
Plus Katara gets no pomegranate seeds or six month vacation.
